Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle Bell Rock was written by Joel Beal (1900-1967), a public relations man born in Massachussets, and Jim Boothe (1917-1976), a Texan writer in the advertising business. First released by Bobby Helms in 1957, the song has been the subject of frequent airplay during every Christmas ever since. Although performed by many, Helm’s version remains the best-known.
